Personal Notes:
Grandma Sara was a life member of Hadassah who went to Israel with Hadassah and volunteered on a Kibbutz. An avid baker, she was known for her desserts, especially her coffee cake. Both my daughters Sheri and Lisa spent time with her, as children, and would even stay over her apartment where they often watched her bake.
Everyone loved Grandma Sara's coffee cake.
My mother-in law passed away in 2001, but Sheri and Lisa, both young women, carry on her legacy and honor her memory by baking her coffee cake.
And it is just as delicious as Grandma Sara's was so many years ago.
