2 (5oz) cans tuna drained

1 cup frozen peas

1/2 cup milk

3/4 cup. Buttery crackers (I use Ritz), crushed

4 tbsp. Butter, melted

4 oz. (about 2 1/2 cups) cooked egg noodles or elbow macaroni

1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.75 oz.)

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp dried thyme (optional)

Preheat oven to 375 ºF

Cook noodles according to package directions, adding peas the last five minutes. Drain in colander.

In a separate bowl, mix together soup, milk and garlic powder. Stir in noodles, peas and thyme.

Transfer to a 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish. Bake 15 minutes; Melt butter and mix with cracker crumbs and sprinkle evenly on top of casserole. Bake 5-10 minutes longer or until topping is browned and casserole is heated through.
