2 c boiling water
2 c 100% bran cereal
1 c shortening
4 eggs
3 c sugar
1 qt buttermilk
4 c All Bran cereal
5 c flour
5 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

Pour boiling water over bran cereal. Stir and set aside.
Cream together shortening, eggs, and sugar. Add buttermilk. Mix by hand.
Add All-Bran, flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well.

Do NOT use the same day. Keep in fridge up to 7 weeks. Do NOT use paper liners

Bake at 400º for 20 minutes.
Batter can live in fridge for 7 weeks. Bake off muffins anytime.
