3/4 lb butter
1 lb brown sugar
2 lb currants
2 lb raisins (ordinary)
1 lb sticky raisins
1 lb dates
10 eggs
1/4 lb almonds
1/4 lb walnuts
1/2 c molasses
1/2 tsp cloves
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp mace
1 tsp mixed spice
2 tsp vanilla
pinch salt
3/4 tsp baking soda
5 c flour
3/4 c brandy

Directions:
Add cherries, peel, 2 c citron (canned at home), 2 c mixed glazed fruit. Mix dry ingredients together, add liquid, add fruits and blend well together and bake at 300ºF for 2 hours.
