6 (4 ounce) links sweet Italian sausage
2 tablespoons butter
1 yellow onion, sliced
1/2 red onion, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 large red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
1/4 to 1/2 tsp chili flakes
1/4 cup white wine
1 or 2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp chicken better than bouillon dissolve with 1 cup warm water or 1 tin chicken or beef broth

Brown sausage in instant pot on all sides. Remove sausage slice.
Melt butter in the instant pot. Stir in the yellow onion, red onion, and garlic, and cook 2 to 3 minutes. Mix in red bell pepper and green bell pepper. Season with basil, and oregano. Stir in white wine. Return sausage slices to pot with the vegetables. Cook manual for 5 to 10 minutes and natural pressure release.

Cook's Note:
Add a little more white wine while simmering if needed. Serve with polenta, rice or pasta.
