2 cups flour
½ cup sugar
1 cup butter

Filling:
18-20 oz. jar of apricot preserves


Topping:
¾ cup flour
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
⅓ cup butter

Frosting:
1 cup confectioners sugar
1-2 Tbsp. milk

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Make base by mixing together flour and sugar. Cut in butter and blend with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Press into 10X15 cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

Stir the apricot preserves to soften then spread on crust.

Mix all topping ingredients together until crumbly. Sprinkle over preserves and bake at 350º for 30 minutes.

Drizzle frosting over warm bars.

Cut into squares while warm.

These bars were always a favorite of the Visitation Seniors. Grandma still makes them for her doctor, William Gros, MD and his staff.
