8 oz. spaghetti
1 lb. ground beef
2 med. onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. chili powder
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 sm. bay leaf crumbled
2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Cook spaghetti in large pot of boiling, salted water. Brown ground beef; add onions garlic, chili powder, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and bay leaf. Simmer slowly and uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Combine sauce, spaghetti, and 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese. Put mixture in casserole dish and add 1 cup (or more) shredded Cheddar cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes uncovered.
