1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1½ cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. salt
3 cups quick oats
1 cup raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer raisins in water for 20 to 30 minutes. Drain liquid. Beat together butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinammon, and salt; mix well. Stir in oats and raisins; mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookies sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack.
Bar Cookies: Bake 30 to 35 minutes in un greased 13X9 pan.
