Directions:
Dough:
Sift together flour, ¼ cup sugar, salt and baking powder. Then with a pastry blender or two knives mix in the butter until it resembles coarse crumbs (as you would a pie crust). Then put the egg into a measuring cup and fill the rest up to ½ cup with milk and add to dry ingredients to make a dough.

Filling:
Take the apples and sugar and cook until soft. Add cinnamon to taste.

Pat dough into the bottom of a spring form pan. Add the Apple mixture and top with a layer of dough. Prick the top of the dough with a fork across the top.

Bake at 350º F for about 35 minutes.
