"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Pepperoni & Hot Pepper Bread

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
5 pack Rhodes bread - thawed & raised following the instructions.
(Use a 3 pack of the bread if you want to make less)
2 sticks melted butter
Garlic powder & black pepper (to taste)
1 pound sliced pepperoni (small pizza pepperoni)
2 pounds shredded mozzarella cheese
2 jars hot or mild pepper rings, drained

Directions:
Directions:
Mix melted butter, garlic powder and black pepper in a bowl. Cut each loaf of thawed raised bread into small pieces and dip into the butter mixture. Drop the pieces on to a baking sheet with spaces in-between so the bread can expand. Sprinkle with cheese, pepper rings, pepperoni and more cheese on top. (The cheese on top is the glue that holds the pepperoni and peppers in place)

Bake for approximately 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking racks. This can be stored in containers or Ziploc storage bags (if it lasts that long).

Also, I usually line my baking sheet with aluminum foil for easier clean up!
