1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1 cup soft butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp salt
8 oz chocolate chips
1 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 cups flour
2 1/2 cups oatmeal

Preheat oven to 400

Beat sugars, butter and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beat well. Mix flour, oatmeal, salt, baking soda, baking powder. Mix in chocolate chips. Bake for 9 minutes. They should be soft, don't over bake them. Let cool for several minutes before removing from pan.
