1 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 2/3 cups flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients, gently stirring in oats last.

Shape dough into rounded golf ball sized balls. Place on prepared baking sheet. Flatten with the bottom of a cup dipped in sugar.

Bake at 350º for 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool on baking sheet 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack.
