Personal Notes:
Ryan and his Grandma Rhoda made this recipe many times. They also made breads, cakes and gingerbread cookie houses together.
In kindergarten, Ryan's class was learning about American Indians. Each kid had to pick an Indian name to describe himself.
Ryan chose: Boy Who Bakes Cakes.
Worried about him for some time after that...might have even preferred he was Dancing With Wolves.
He actually turned out to be a very good cook.
