"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Sponge cake was very popular years ago and could be used for Strawberry Shortcake.
The two Sponge Cake recipes on this page use different types of pans. The second Sponge Cake recipe is from Vavo. Her Orange Cake was always requested by Grandma as her birthday cake. It was so moist and tangy. The ingredients for this Orange Cake are the same as the original recipe but the directions are different. A blender is used. This makes the cake lighter but just as moist.
