2 C Milk
1 C half and half or heavy whipping cream
2 tsp Vanilla
2 Cinnamon Sticks
6 whole cloves
1 C rice
3 TBSP Sugar
1/2 c Water (more if needed)
1/3 C Evap. Milk
6 Cardamom Pods
1/2 tsp-1 tsp. Rose water
2 TBSP unsalted butter (room temp.)
Ground cinnamon for serving (opt.)
Honey for serving (opt.)
Crushed pistachios or walnuts for serving (opt.)

Directions:
Place milk, 1/2 and 1/2 or whipping cream, cinnamon sticks, vanilla, cardamom pods, cloves, rose water in medium sauce pan. Heat on med-high stirring constantly. Just before milk mixture boils, remove from heat. Cool completely and refrigerate for a couple of hours or overnight so that flavors develop--if do not have time, proceed. Place rice, sugar, milk mixture, and water (if needed) in pressure cooker. Cook @ rice setting until rice is tender. Stir in butter, evaporated milk. Serve warm with cinnamon, honey, nuts if desired.
