2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups peanut butter

Directions:
Directions:
Beat the cream cheese, butter, and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, and mix well. Mix in the peanut butter.

Reduce mixer speed to low. Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing just until combined.

Drop dough by tablespoon onto the prepared cookie sheet. Use a fork to make a cross pattern on top of the cookies. (Dipping the fork in a little bit of flour will help keep it from sticking to the dough.)

Bake at 350º for 12 to 15 minutes or until the cookies are lightly browned. Cool on the pan for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
