1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 lightly baked 9" pie shell
1 package vanilla instant pudding
Tub of Cool Whip
1 1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, brown sugar and nuts in a saucepan
Heat until butter and sugar are melted.
Spread in bottom of pie shell.
Bake at 450º for 5 minutes or until bubbly.
Cool.
Prepare pudding mix with milk as directed on package.
Reserve 1 cup of prepared pudding.
Pour rest of pudding into pie shell
Gently mix reserved cup of pudding with 1 1/3 c. of Cool Whip.
Spoon into pie shell
Chill at least 3 hours; overnight is better.

Garnish with remaining Cool Whip and Pecans if desired.
