¾ cup sugar
½ cup margarine
⅓ cup molasses
1 egg
1½ cups flour
½ tsp salt
¾ tsp baking soda
¾ cup chopped pecans (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350º.
2. Cream together margarine and sugar
3. Stir in molasses, then beat in egg,
4. Stir in flour, salt and baking soda.
5. Add pecans, if desired.
6. Roll spoonfuls of dough in sugar to coat.
7. Bake about 15 minutes, till centers are cooked.
