Prime rib roast
1 cup softened butter
5 cloves of minced garlic
1 Tbsp thyme
1 Tbsp oregano
1 Tbsp rosemary
1 Tbsp salt
1 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Bring roast to room temperature. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Mix butter and spices. Rub entire amount of butter on the outside of the roast. Place in pan, fat side up.

Cook for 15 minutes. Reduce temp to 325 and continue roasting for 15 minutes per pound. Remove from oven at 110 degrees.

Tent with foil for at least 20 minutes. Serve at 130 degrees for medium rare meat.
