1 Stick Butter
1 Cup Butter Shortening
2 1/4 Cups Sugar or Sugar Free Substitute
2 Eggs
2 Tablespoons Baking Powder
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1Teaspoon Vanilla
1Teaspoon Nutmeg
1/4 Cups Milk or Buttermilk
3 Cups Flour
1 Teaspoon Almond Extract
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light. Add eggs and mix well. Add other ingredients and enough flour until it is stiff enough to roll out and cut with a cookie cutter. Bake at 375 degrees in a cookie sheet about 15 minutes.

You can take a little ball of dough and flatten to form cookie if cookie cutter was not used. Place close to each other.

Don't let them brown too much on the bottom.

Cook on 350 degrees is sugar free substitute was used.
