5 Apples, peeled, cored, diced
5 tbsp. Sugar
2 teas. Cinnamon


3 c. Flour Sauce for German Apple Cake:
2½ c. Sugar ¼ c. Brown Sugar
½ teas. Salt ¼ c. White Sugar
4 Eggs 4 tbsp. Flour
1 c. Oil 1½ teas. Vanilla
2 teas. Vanilla 1 stick Butter
⅓ c. Orange Juice 1 c. Water
1½ teas.Baking Powder
Pecans, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Mix apples, sugar and cinnamon together and set aside.
Mix remaining ingredients together and fold in apple mixture in with cake mixture.
Pour in to a bunt pan and bake for 1 hour at 350º

Mix sauce ingredients together and cook, stirring constantly until thickened.
Serve warm over cake.
