CRUST:
2 c crushed pretzels
1/4 c sugar
1/2 stick melted butter (1/4 c)
FILLING:
1 c sugar
1 - 8 oz cream cheese softened
2 c cool whip
TOPPING:
2 c pineapple juice (or water)
6 oz strawberry jello (large size)
2 - 10 oz pkg frozen strawberries

CRUST:
Mix sugar & butter & add crushed pretzels. Press into large greased casserole dish - 9 x 13 pan. Bake 10 min at 350.
FILLING:
Mix all ingredients together and spread on cooled crust.
TOPPING:
Bring juice (water) to boil and dissolve jello in it. Add thawed strawberries. Let mixture slightly congealed and pour on top of filling.

Chill until set.

This dish is a staple at Easter. We also have started having it at Thanksgiving too.
Since Mom is allergic to pineapple - we use water.
