2 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup butter
2 eggs
3 cups plain flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/8 cups buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup mashed banana

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs & set aside. Cream butter. Add sugar. Beat into butter. Add beaten eggs one at a time. Sift dry ingredients. Add alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Add bananas.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes
Makes 2 large or 3 small loaves.
