2 ½ - 3 pounds rump roast or beef bottom round
flour
salt
pepper
canola oil
2 large onions, sliced
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 cups hot beef bullion broth (cubes)
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon viengar
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon thyme
1 large oven cooking bag
6 potatoes
6 carrots

Directions:
Directions:
In a plastic bag, dust meat with flour, salt, and pepper. Heat oil in a large frying pan, brown the meat on all sides, then place in oven cooking bag. Add the rest of the ingredients (onion, garlic, broth, tomato paste, vinegar, sugar, and thyme) to the oil and cook until the onions are soft. Put the mixture in the cooking bag with the meat, then add cut up potatoes and carrots to the bag. Tie bag and add a few holes for ventilation. Cook at 350º F for about 2-2½ hours.
