For the sauce

In a 2 quart sauce pan over low heat, melt 1/4 cup of butter, then add 1 3/4 cup of ketchup , 1/4 cup yellow mustard, 1/4 cup white vinegar. Blend until smooth, then add 1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic, 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper, 1 tablespoon liquid smoke, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tablespoon Tabasco sauce and 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice. Blend until smooth, then add 1/4 cup dark brown sugar. Stir constantly, increase heat to simmer ( do not boil ) for 10 minutes. Then set aside.

In a 2 gallon pot, over low heat melt 1/4 pound of butter. Add 3 cups of small diced potatoes, one cup small diced onion, two 14 1/2 ounce cans of chicken broth, 1 pound baked chicken ( White and dark ),
10 ounce smoked sausage. Bring to a rolling boil, cook five minutes, then add two 8 1/2 ounce cans early peas, two 14 1/2 ounce cans diced tomatoes, The prepared sauce from above, one 16 ounce can of baby lima beans plus one package frozen butter beans, 1/4 cup liquid smoke, One 14 1/2 ounce can cream corn plus one package frozen corn. Slow simmer for three hours.
