1 1/2 pound of ground beef
5 slices of bacon ( Cut into bite-size pieces )
1 medium onion ( diced)
1 medium Bell pepper (Diced)
1 53 ounce can of pork and beans
1/2 cup dark brown sugar (Packed)
1/4 cup of white corn syrup
1/4 cup of ketchup
1 teaspoon of yellow mustard
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. In a large pan combine hamburger, sliced bacon, diced green peppers and onions, and cook until hamburger is done. Drain any grease that is in the pan. Return meat mixture back to the pan. Add pork and beans, dark brown sugar, white corn syrup, ketchup, mustard, and salt and pepper to the mixture. Mix well. Pour into a casserole dish and bake for 30 minutes. This recipe is been passed down for generations
