Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1½ lbs. ground beef
½ ground pork
½ ground veal
1 lb. bacon
⅔ cup bread crumbs
½ cup milk
2 eggs
1 large onion, chopped
¼ tsp. tobasco sauce
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
½ tsp. dried thyme
2 tsp. worcestershire sauce

Glaze:
½ cup ketchup
4 tbsp. vinegar
9 tbsp. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Mix ground meats together (if you can't find ground veal, just use a bit extra pork or beef).
Add remaining ingredients to meat and mix well with hands. Cover a 9 x 13 pan with foil up over the edges.
Shape the meat into a loaf and place in pan.
Put glaze ingredients into small pot and simmer over low heat, stirring constantly until well-mixed and heated.
Pour about half the glaze (a bit at a time) on the meat loaf and brush to cover the meat. (Do NOT dip the brush into the pot of glaze because it will contaminate the rest of the batch).
Arrange bacon slices, crosswise over loaf, overlapping slightly and tucking bacon tip ends under the loaf.
Place in oven and bake until bacon is crisp and loaf is cooked through, approximately 1 hour. Let stand a few minutes and slice. Use remaining glaze to pour over sliced meatloaf if desired.
