2 sticks butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup lt. brown sugar, firmly packed
3 large eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3 cups all purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups red and green M & M’s
1 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350º. Line a 9x13 baking dish with foil with excess on edges for easy removal.
Spray foil generously. Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add flour, soda and salt and beat until combined. Add M&M, chocolate and white chips, reserving some for topping. Transfer cookie dough to prepared baking dish. Press reserved candy and chips into top of dough. Bake 35-40 minutes on lower oven rack. Cool completely and slice into bars. Makes 18-36.
