Meatballs:
1 lb. ground beef
2 eggs, slightly beaten
½ cup bread crumbs
¼ cup parmesan or romano cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
¼ tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. olive oil

Sauce:
2 cloves garlic,minced
1 tbsp. olive oil
2 cans crushed tomatoes
2 cups water
1 jar spaghetti sauce
2 cans tomato paste
¼ cup parmesan or romano cheese
1 tbsp. basil
2 tbsp. sugar
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Shape into meatballs. In large skillet, brown the meatballs in oil on all sides; drain.
In large pot, saute the garlic in oil for 1 minutes. Stir in the tomatoes, water, tomato sauce and paste, parsley, cheese, basil and sugar. Bring to a boil Reduce heat and carefully add meatballs.
Cover and simmer for 2 hours, stirring often adding more water if needed to achieve desired consistency.
Season with salt & pepper. Garnish with additional parmesan cheese.
