2 lbs. ground beef
8 saltine crackers, crushed
or about ½ cup bread crumbs
1 egg
chopped onion or
1 pkg. onion soup mix
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup ketchup
¼ cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion and egg in bowl. Mix together with hands.
Press down into loaf pan and then form a small indent down the middle of the loaf.
Mix brown sugar, ketchup and water together and pour over top of meat.
Bake at 350º for about an hour or until cooked through the middle.
