Gagie's skillet [whereabouts unknown. My mother may still have it. You can use your own, but that pan was magic]
Unsalted Butter [or regular but why?]
Eggs
Pepper
Cheese [Optional]

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a skillet on medium low heat
Crack eggs on side of pan so it drips down the side
Let eggs cook for a few minutes until bottoms are firm
Break yolks and scramble in pan with metal fork [don't worry about the pan]
Sprinkle on pepper
Add cheese [if desired]
Continue to stir eggs until cooked
Serve soft

When Patti, John and I were little we would visit Gagie and Grandad in DC and no matter what time of day or night she would make me her scrambled eggs in that old pan, on that old stove in that old kitchen. Mom's eggs got close and mine are pretty good but Gagie's eggs were by far the most delicious I have ever had or will ever have.
