1/2 c. canola oil
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
This is the ideal "20-minutes until Shabbat and still need to make dessert" dessert. You have sampled it plenty of times ;)
You can toss everything into one mixing bowl and mix well, or, spend 2 extra minutes to prep:

1. Mix oil, egg, sugars, extract in one bowl
2. Mix flower, baking soda, chocolate chips in one bowl.
3. Add wet ingredients to dry bowl, stir well.
4. Form into two logs on one baking sheet, lined with parchment paper
5. Bake at 350º F for approximately 15 minutes.
6. Remove from oven, they will appear under-baked, cut immediately. Let cool.
