Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Lizzie's children do not recall their mother making this soup, but rather it was one her mother made, as remembered by Lizzie's sister, Edna Mae. Edna Mae says it was for "something warm on a Sunday evening". Perhaps Lizzie did not care for Coffee Soup and so did not make it for her own children. Though not a recipe of Lizzie's, I thought it was an interesting family recipe to include. --Rachel

Postum is a depression era toasted grain drink, a substitute for instant coffee.
