1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 cup rolled oats (3 min type)
1 cup roasted sunflower seeds
2 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream together butter, margarine, sugars, and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time to mix and beat on high until light and fluffy.
2. To creamed mixture add rolled oats and sunflower seeds. Mix well.
3. In separate bowl sift together flour, salt and baking soda.
4. Add dry mixture to creamed mixture and mix with wooden spoon.
5. Chill dough for 1 hr.
6. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
7. Roll chilled dough into balls using teaspoon. Place balls onto cookie sheet and press down with fork.
8. Bake at 350F for 10 min ensuring not to over bake.
