1½ c. milk
¼ c. shortening
½ c. sugar
2 pkg. yeast
½ c. warm water
1 t. sugar
2 eggs
1½ t. salt
6 c. flour
Filling:
melted butter and cream
brown sugar
cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk and add shortening. While still lukewarm, add ½ c. sugar. Dissolve yeast in warm water and add 1 t. sugar. Beat eggs and add to milk mixture. Add yeast mixture. Then add salt and flour. Set in warm place for 30-45 minutes to rise. Kneed for 3 minutes. Let rise again. Roll out, spread with melted butter and cream. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll it up and cut in slices. Place in pan 1 inch apart and let rise again. For really moist rolls drizzle a little milk between the rolls before baking. Bake at 375º for 20 minutes. Top with caramel frosting.
