1/2 C butter
3/4 C minced onions
1/2 C minced celery
1/2 C minced green pepper
1 chicken bouillon cube
4 C packaged bread crumbs for turkey stuffing
4 C packaged corn bread for turkey stuffing
1 lb minced sausage links or ground sausage
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 C pecans, chopped
8 oz chopped mushrooms

Directions:
Directions:
In hot butter, saute onions, green peppers, celery till tender. Dissolve bouillon in 2/3 C hot water; sprinkle over both crumb mixtures, then add salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, eggs, nuts and sausage.
Toss. Moisten with melted butter to desired consistency.

Stuff 1/3 of mixture into the tail of the bird, 1/3 into neck and put remaining dressing in baking dish. Bake in oven with turkey, but remove lid last 45 minutes.

Baste bird with 1/4 C butter heated with 3/4 C red wine.
