3 cups sifted flour
2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup Crisco
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 cup creamy peanut butter, preferably Jiff
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, soda and salt. Cream Crisco; add sugars gradually and cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs and mix well. Add peanut butter and vanilla and mix thoroughly. Gradually add dry ingredients and blend well. When mixed make into 3/4" balls.Place on parchment lined cookie sheet and press ball flat with fork tines. Bake about 10-12 minutes in a moderately hot oven. (400 degrees)
