Sunflower Nut Bars Recipe

Crust:
¾ c butter
¾ c brown sugar
1 c flour
1 c oatmeal
1 t baking soda
½ t salt
Mix together and pat into greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350º.

Filling:
35 caramels
3-4 T cream
3 T butter
Melt and pur over crust.
Another option is to use Mrs. Richardson's caramel ice cream topping. I use caramels, cream and butter.

Topping:
1 c chocolate chips
1 ½ sunflower nuts
Bake 10-15 minutes more at 350º.
