4 cups of sugar
4 cups vinegar
1/2 cup salt
1 1/3 tsp turmeric
1 1/2 tsp celery seed
2 tbsp mustard seed
4 onions sliced thinly
4 cucumbers sliced thinly

1 cleaned 4 qt jar with lid

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, vinegar and salt together. DO NOT HEAT Stir thoroughly until all is dissolved.
2. Mix the onions and cucumbers together and put into the jars.
3. Pour the sugar/vinegar liquid over the cucumbers. Fill to the top of the jar. Cover the jars
4. Put in refrigerator for at least 5 days. Will keep in refrigerator for months.
