Mushroom Salisbury Steak Recipe

2 Tbs butter
1 1/4 C mushrooms, thinly sliced
1 onion, thinly sliced
10 1/2 oz can condensed beef broth
1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
1/2 C Panko bread crumbs
1 egg
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 Tbs all-purpose flour
1/4 C ketchup
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp ground mustard
1/3 C water

Directions:
Directions:
In large fry pan, cook onions in butter over medium heat for 5 minutes ensuring onions don't brown.
Add mushrooms and cook until all liquid is absorbed.
In a bowl, combine beef, 1/4 C broth, egg, pepper and bread crumbs. Mix well and form into 6 patties.
In small bowl, combine remaining broth, flour, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, ground mustard and water. Mix well.
Remove mushrooms/onions from pan. Place beef patties in the pan and brown on each side (~4 minutes each side).
Place onions/mushrooms on top of patties and pour broth mixture over top.
Cover and let simmer 20 minutes or until done.
Serve with mashed potatoes.
