10 pork chops
3/4 C. apple juice
4 tart apples, sliced (sprinkle with lemon juice)
3/4 C. brown sugar
Pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg
3/4 C. golden raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Saute pork chops in small amount of shortening. Place in flat casserole dish. Deglaze skillet by adding apple juice. Pour over chops. Bake, covered, for 45 minutes at 350. combine apple slices, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and raisins. Pour over chops. Bake until apples are tender.
