1 cup butter, room temperature
1 cup sugar
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 cup vegetable oil
1 Tbsp vanilla
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup crushed corn flakes
1/2 cup shredded sweetened coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325º In a large mixing bowl, blend the butter with both sugars until creamy. Blend in the egg and mix together well, followed by the vegetable oil and vanilla. To this mixture add the oats, corn flakes, coconut, and pecans, stirring thoroughly. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the other cookie ingredients.
I drop by Tbsp and flatten using fork tines. Bake for 12 min. Allow the cookies to cool completely on the cookie sheet before removing them.
These cookies will keep at room temperature for a couple of weeks or for a couple of months in an airtight container in the freezer.
