2 to 3 pounds flank steak
3 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
½ cup soy sauce
¼ cup oil
⅓ cup brown sugar
2 green onions, sliced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
½ teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Using the tip of a sharp knife, first make shallow, about ⅛-inch deep, cuts across the grain one way, then the other way on both sides of the flank steak. Combine remaining ingredients and marinate steak a minimum of 5 hours, preferably overnight. Turn several times in marinade. Remove from marinade and pat dry. Broil or grill 3 to 6 minutes on each side.
