3 eggs
1/2 lb. or 1 cup butter
1 cup sour cream
2 cups sugar
6 cups flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix eggs, butter, sour cream and sugar. Add dry ingredients alternately to mixture. Refrigerate. Roll out and cut with cookie cutters. Bake 350 degrees for 10 minutes, depending on your size cookies, may need more time.

This is still a family favorite from my mom Miriam Yeagley. They get fluffy and soft, can be sprinked or iced, cut into shapes for the holidays.
