3 lb package of ground beef (80/20 fat ratio)
1 pack of frozen chopped onions
1 pack of frozen chopped green peppers
Garlic to taste
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Cayenne pepper to taste
Oregano to taste
1 bag of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Any other spices you want to add to the ground beef/casserole for desired taste.

Homemade mashed potatoes:
5 lb bag of
1 stick of butter
Cream
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Directions:
1. Make mashed potatoes:
In a large saucepan over high heat, boil water.While water is warming up, rinse off potatoes and use a knife or vegetable peeler to peel the potato skins off of the potatoes. Then, rinse the potatoes off. Once water is boiling, add potatoes to water and boil potatoes until they are tender. Do not over cook them. Drain off the water from the saucepan and place the potatoes in the mixing bowl. Slowly add 1 stick of butter and cream and mix the potatoes until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat fry the ground beef and add oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, garlic and any other spices you would like to use.
2. In a 9x13 casserole dish, layer as follows. Ground beef, mashed potatoes and then a layer of shredded cheddar cheese. Continue the layering process until all meat mixture is used.
3. Bake at 350º until bubbly.
