1 Green Plantain
3 leaves Curly Kale
3 leaves Green Leaf Lettuce aka "Looseleaf Lettuce" (pictured in photo)
1/4 Jicama

1 tbsp crushed pistachios
2 tsp sesame seeds

1 sprinkle of Nutritional Yeast
generous Salt
red seasoning similar to chili powder

1 tbsp Coconut Oil
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp Balsamic Vinaigrette

Directions:
Directions:
Everything cooked will be fried.

Cut lettuce and lace along one half of dish for bedding.

Set heat level 7/10.

~ PLANTAIN ~
Slice plantain and arrange on pan.
Add coconut oil.
Add 1/2 cup water, let evaporate.
Flip plantain slices to brown each side.
Add salt.
Add to dish.

~ JICAMA ~
Cut jicama into chunks and fry.
Add 1/2 cup water, let evaporate.
Add salt.
Add red seasoning.
Add to dish when browned.

~ KALE ~
Dry kale completely.
Cut kale into small pieces.
Fry.
Press kale into pan to accelerate browning of only one side.
Do not flip.
Add salt
When you can almost smell burning, remove from heat.
Wait for temperature to drop below 375º
Add olive oil
Add sprinkle of Nutritional Yeast
Add sesame seeds
Add to dish.

~ ETC ~
Sprinkle crushed pistachios on everything.
Add vinaigrette onto jicama.

This is a full meal because of the amount of oil, but could be served as a decadent first course. Must be served in a modern, classy-looking dish to achieve the level of arrogance this salad intends to exude.
