¼ c. brown sugar
½ c. butter
1 c. flour
¾ c. pecans
⅔ c. milk
30 large marshmallows
1 15 oz. whipped topping mix, or 15 oz. cool whip, or whipped cream
1 package strawberry jello
1 c. boiling water
¾ c. cold water
2 c. sliced fresh strawberries

Directions:

Mix brown sugar, butter, flour, and nuts. Press into a 9x13 inch pan. Bake in a 350º oven for 10-12 minutes. Cool and crumble.

Combine milk and marshmallow. Stir over low heat until marshmallows are melted. Prepare topping mix or whipped cream and fold into marshmallow mixture. Pour over crumble crust and chill.

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water and then stir in cold water. Chill until thickened. Fold in strawberries. Pour over marshmallow layer and chill until firm. Serve with whipped cream if desired.

Note: Frozen strawberries are fine to use, just reduce water more to accommodate for juice.
