Butter Pecan Pound Cake Recipe

2 sticks butter
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
6 eggs
1T vanilla
1T baking powder
2 1/2 c flour
2 c chopped pecans

Glaze
1 c brown sugar
2 Tb water
1T vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars
Add eggs
Add flour
Fold in pecans

Pour into 2 greased loaf pans
Bake 50-60 minutes in preheated 350* oven

Glaze- mix and put in microwave until melted.

When baked punch holes in cake and pour glaze on it. Then remove from pans.

I use loaf pans, but original recipe calls for a bundt pan. I also grease pans with olive oil spray and use Splenda brown sugar.
