9X13 dish, buttered

6 apples more or less depending on size, and using 2 different types of apples (granny smith, gala, honey crisp, wine sap or various types)

½ to ¾ cup of sugar

1 Tablespoon flour

1 Tablespoon cinnamon

TOPPING

1½ cups oatmeal

1½ cups flour

1 cup brown sugar

1½ sticks butter, slightly soft and sliced

Preheat oven to 350º


Place apples in a large bowl.

Combine flour, sugar, and cinnamon, then mix with apples.

Place apple mixture in prepared 9x13 dish

For topping, mix dry ingredients then cut in with the butter to make a crumble like topping.

Spread topping evenly over apples.

Bake at 350º for about 45 minutes. Test for doneness with sharp knife into the apples
