Small to medium cucumbers
Dry red hot peppers
cloves of garlic
fresh dill

1 qt vinegar
3 qt water
1 cup pickling salt
1 tbsp powdered alum

Directions:
Directions:
1. sterilize quart jars along with the lids
2. Wash cucumbers and pack into the sterilized quart jars adding 2 chili peppers and 1 glove of garlic and a hand full of dill in each jar.
3. in a sauce pan put combine the vinegar, water, salt and alum. Bring to boil and make sure the slat is dissolved.
Pour in each jar to the top and seal.

** add more garlic and peppers if desired.
